I hear your voice,
like autumn,
ringing of a world I’ve lost.

But even still,
I miss you like you never knew my name.

Summer’s silenced our entire symphony;
the strings lay silent, packed away
with memories and moments past.

I would kill for just one note to play that you could hear
above the din of every sunrise spent apart.

Today I talked about
the end of March;
or more specifically
the start of all the things
that make my walk to
fall accelerate.

But even still,
I miss you like you’re never coming back.

A lyric catches fire in my heart;
separate music parts are joined
with falling leaves’ refrain,
but I must temporarily remain without
our perfect broken circle on display.

I will miss you until my gaze meets with yours,
Until all we are is counted towards the everyday
And cherished with the pain of seasoned love.

It's amazing....
I've missed your poetry like I was never going to read it again...

^^
I'm left breathless...
and also full of yearning...
You capture so much...
and it was poignant especially since I read this at a time of
some longing...

| falling in love is like getting a preview of heaven |

i know how it feels
when love goes away.
:heart:
tread softly.
I'm currently finding words hard to come by.

I'm glad it resonated, but at the same time hopeful that your longing won' be prolonged.

Thanks for reading!

I swear, your stuff makes me want to draw. I don't have time enough to draw all these images popping into my mind. :ohnoes:

I probably will, but considering it takes me about a week and a half to finish a *good* abstract drawing, it might be awhile. But I'll let ya know!
